Polar Express
December 3, 2011
We road the Polar Express, Heber Valley Railroad. The kids has a lot of fun singing Christmas carols and drinking hot chocolate and eating cookies. Our train host made sure the kids had a lot of fun. We found Santa and he hopped on the train to visit all the kids. Both Maisie and Parker freaked out a little bit and couldn't decide what they were going to tell them they wanted for Christmas. Afterwards, we went to Cabela's and walked around.

Cutting down Christmas Tree
Me and the kids went with Kyle & Misty's family and my dad to cut down christmas trees. By the time we had hiked up a little hill to cut down the tree we had all 7 kids a cryin. We found the perfect Charlie Brown trees.
Family Pictures
A few of our annual family pictures. It was pretty cold and getting a little dark, but I think overall they turned out cute.
Deer Hunting
October 22
We went deer hunting as a family this year. It was pretty fun, other than we didn’t see anything. First thing that morning we saw one doe, but didn’t see anything the rest of the day. It was still nice spending day together in the mountains.
A couple of nice fall shots:
Little Bear Bottoms Corn Maze
October 15
Me and kids went to the Little Bear Bottoms corn maze with Head Start. Surprisingly it was a really warm day. The kids loved the hay bales maze. They had stacked 1 ton hay bales and made a little maze. I think all the kids were more interested in that then the actual corn maze. We tried going through the corn maze, but decided it was too hard. I definitely do not have the patience for corn mazes. When I want out, I want out.

Heber Creeper
We took the plunge and decided to spend the money and go on the Heber Creeper train ride. Our neighbor, Sallie and grandson Jerry went with us. We had a lot of fun riding the 3 hour train ride and then spending the day in Salt Lake City and Cabela's. The scenery on the train was beautiful. The leaves were just beginning to change.
We are planning to go back and ride The Polar Express in December. The kids should really like that.
