Maisie's last day of 4th Grade
I can not believe that Maisie is growing up so fast. I remember her going to kindergarten like it was yesterday. Only one more year of EBLS and then it is off to middle school. So sad. Makes me want to freeze time. Maisie has loved having Mrs. Farokhi and Mrs. Johnson for 4th grade. They have both been amazing teachers. So far Maisie is so responsible and I don't ever have to remind her about homework or wonder if she is completing her work. She just does it.

EBLS Field Day
Edith Bowen always has a field day of activities the day before the last day. Mrs. Roghaar invited those kindergartners that wanted to attend. Parker loved it and I am glad she did that for them. Maisie loves playing and running around with her girl friends. They all had a great day and what better way to end the school year. Parker wanted to sign everyone's shirt. As soon as I seen him doing this, I knew exactly what he was doing. He was trying to be just like the driver's at the monster jam. It was so stinkin' cute.

Parker's last day of Kindergarten
May 22nd was the last day of Kindergarten. The last day of school they had a special day where they sang songs and showed the parents what they had been learning all year. It was a proud moment for the kids and of course brought a few tears to the parents eyes. They are such cute kids. Even Parker almost cried. He said to me, "I am going to miss Mrs. "Rosghaar". Parker has had a great year and loved kindergarten. I still can not believe the year is already overwith and my baby is now going to 1st grade. Mrs. Roghaar (Rosghaar if you ask Parker) was the best teacher. We couldn't have asked for a better teacher. Parker loves reading and everything about school. One of Parker's best friends is Noah. See the mischievous smiles below. They have a lot of fun together, but they can also be a little rowdy.

Cherish Life - Gary
When we pulled in the driveway from camping, we noticed that Ken's brother who lives in Texas was walking up to Sallie's door. Eric says to me, "I wonder why he's here. Did something bad happen." I wish that our gut instinct would have been wrong.
Later that day Sallie knocks on our door and as soon as I saw her, I knew something just wasn't right. She said, "I am about to ruin your guy's day." Her son Gary had passed away Saturday from an apparent heart attack at the age of 37. Gary had become such a close friend of ours. He would come visit his mom at least once a year and wanted to make sure he planned his trips around Eric's schedule so that he could also spend some time with Eric. Gary had the most amazing heart and was such a good friend to all he met. So willing to help anyone and everyone who needed an extra hand. Our heart aches for the pain and suffering for those he touched. Sallie is family to us and to see someone we love and care about go through tragedy, tears us apart.
When things like this happen it brings me back to reality of how precious and short life is. Definitely need to hold and cherish the ones we love.

Camping at Wellsville
We had originally planned a camping trip to go to Wyoming with my good friend, Jason, from work, but the weather was not panning out and we decided to stick close to home. It was suppose to rain most of the weekend, but that doesn't stop us from camping. He told us about Wellsville Reservoir, which we didn't know even existed. Wow camping less than 5 miles from home, doesn't get much better than that. There is a nice open grassy area across from the reservoir that people can pull their trailers up and camp. Jason was suppose to come up and visit us, but with the weather being so crappy and him trying to help a friend with moving, he just didn't make it. He didn't miss much other than some rain. The rain did break a little Saturday afternoon and I was able to walk around the reservoir several times. There is a nice paved trail that goes all the way around it. The kids enjoyed riding their bikes around.
Kyle and Misty and their family came up for a little bit later Saturday evening.
We left pretty early Sunday morning, so we could get home and get some cleaning done around the house.

Our New Shed
We finally decided to put up a shed this year. Thankfully I have a wonderful brother who is very talented and he built us a great shed. We are so excited to get the garage cleaned out. We are just waiting for the roller door before we put to much in it. I think it turned out awesome.

May 4th
Eric was off this weekend, but we decided we needed to stay home and get some stuff done around the house. I am so glad we did. It was nice to just be home for a weekend and get things done. Eric worked on his truck most of Saturday. He was fixing a bunch of stuff on the front end and installing a leveling kit.
I had to work graduation from 10:30 to about 12:30. Then I worked on editing some pictures and cleaning the house.
Eric tilled both Sallie and our garden's and then had a bbq with Sallie and Jerry.
Sunday, I did a little more editing, laundry, and then decided I wanted to go for a Sunday drive. We drove up Logan canyon to check out a few camping spots that we could possible go to for the week that we have off in June. There is still quite a bit of snow, so we weren't able to go into most of the places. Hopefully, the snow will melt in the next few weeks.
